Sinds kort heb ik een nieuwe favoriet in mijn stash: de Colour Crush lipsticks van The Body Shop! 100% vegetarisch en 100% diervriendelijk zijn al twee dingen waar je hoog mee scoort bij mij. Geldt dat ook voor de kwaliteit?

De Colour Crush lipsticks zijn verkrijgbaar in 3 kleurenfamilies: rood, roze en nude. In elke kleurenfamilie vind je zeker wel een kleurtje dat bij je past, want het assortiment is ruim genoeg! Erg leuk natuurlijk is ook het feit dat de verpakking afgestemd is per kleursoort. Zo kan je snel die mooie rode lipstick in je stash vinden! Naast de leuke kleurtjes bevatten deze lipsticks ook verzorgende maroela-olie en kersenpitolie. Hierdoor brengt de lipstick gemakkelijk aan, verzorgt hij de lippen en voelt hij bovendien prettig aan.

Ik heb zelf 4 kleurtjes getest. De eerste lipstick heb ik te danken aan de leuke kortingsbon uit de Deauty-box en de andere drie werden mij toegezonden door The Body Shop omdat ik een wedstrijd had gewonnen. Elke kleurenfamilie is nu vertegenwoordigd: 1 roze, 2 nude-tinten en 1 rode lipstick. Kijk je mee naar de swatches?

De eerste kleur is 310 Crush On Caramel. De lipstick zelf is een bruinig nude kleurtje, maar op de lippen is hij vrij subtiel. Hij heeft een bruin-grijzige ondertoon, waardoor hij misschien niet voor iedereen even geschikt is. Voor de meeste personen is dit echter een gesofisticeerde nude lipstick, die je vrijwel overal kan dragen.
The first color is 310 Crush On Caramel. The lipstick itself is a brownish nude, but on the lips it's quite subtle. It has a greyish brown undertone, so it may not be equally suitable for everyone. For most people however, this is a sophisticated nude lipstick.
De tweede kleur is 305 Golden Flirt. Dit is een bruine nude lipstick met een mauve ondertoon. Bovendien bevat deze kleur erg veel shimmer. Naar mijn smaak is dit zeker niet mijn kleur. Voor dames met een meer getinte huid denk ik dat deze kleur wel erg mooi zal staan. Hou je van donkere lippen of heb je een gekleurd velletje, dan is Golden Flirt zeker iets voor jou!

Na de nude-tinten, nu de rode kleurfamilie met 101 Red Siren. Dit is echt een in your face felrode kleur. Op een gewone dag ontbreekt het mij vaak aan een portie lef om dergelijke kleuren te dragen. Toch vind ik dit ongetwijfeld één van de mooiste rode lipsticks die ik al heb gebruikt. Door zijn koele ondertoon is hij bovendien geschikt voor vrijwel alle huidtinten. Als je een goede en mooie rode lipstick zoekt, is deze zeker het proberen waard! Ben je bang dat dit te fel is voor je? Dan heb ik goed nieuws. Je kan hem gemakkelijk opbouwen, zodat je zelf wat meer kan bepalen hoe fel je wil gaan.
After the nudes, the red color family with 101 Red Siren. This is an in your face bright red color. On an ordinary day I lack the guts to wear such colors. However, this is one of the most beautiful red lipsticks I've used. Due to its cool undertones, it's suitable for almost all skin tones. If you're looking for a good and beautiful red lipstick, this one's worth trying! Afraid that this is too bright for you? Good news: You can easily build up the color, so you can determine how bright you want it.
De laatste lipstick komt uit de roze kleurfamilie en heet 230 Rush Of Pink. De lipstick zelf ziet er vrij felroze uit, maar op de lippen is dit een prachtige natuurlijk roze kleur met shimmers. Zelf kies ik niet vaak roze lipstick om het Barbie-effect te vermijden, maar deze kleur ga ik zeker nog regelmatig gebruiken. Ik vind het eerder een gezonde 'blush of pink', waardoor je lippen meteen een lieflijk roze uitstraling krijgen.
The last lipstick is in the pink family: 230 Rush Of Pink. The lipstick itself looks pretty bright pink, but on the lips it's a natural pink color with shimmers. Personally, I don't often choose pink lipstick but this color is so beautiful! I think it's rather a healthy 'blush of pink', making your lips instantly get a lovely pink appearance.
Zoals jullie kunnen zien zijn de lipsticks erg goed gepigmenteerd. The Body Shop belooft 100% intens en die belofte wordt dan ook volledig ingelost. Toch blijf je de mogelijkheid hebben om de kleuren op te bouwen naar wens, waardoor deze zowel geschikt zijn voor personen die het liever wat subtieler houden als voor mensen die verzot zijn op felle kleuren. Door hun romige lippenbalsem-achtige substantie zijn ze hydraterend en verzorgend, maar tegelijkertijd wordt er wel wat ingeboet aan de duurzaamheid. Na een maaltijd zal je deze lipsticks zeker even moeten bijwerken. Door hun geweldige kwaliteit vind ik dit zeker geen probleem. Ik ben alvast een grote fan! De lipsticks bevatten 3,5 gram aan product en je kan ze aankopen voor 12 euro per stuk in de filialen van The Body Shop.
These are very well pigmented lipsticks. The Body Shop promises 100% intense and that promise is fully met. Yet you have the ability to build op the color to your own liking. Their creamy lip balm-like substance, means they're moisturizing and nourishing but at the same time loose a bit of sustainability. After a meal, you'll definitely need retouching. Because of their great quality, I don't see this as a problem. I'm already a big fan! The lipsticks contain 3.5 gram of product and you can buy them for 12 euro each in the stores of The Body Shop.
