Een tijdje geleden bestelde ik op de KIKO website de Dazzling Highlighter uit de Dark Heroine collectie. Het is mijn eerste stick-highlighter, dus hier was ik best benieuwd naar! Op de foto hieronder kan je alvast de ingrediënten bekijken.
A while ago I've bought the Dazzling Highlighter from the Dark Heroin collection on the KIKO website. This is my first stick-highlighter, so I was very curious about it! You can find the ingredients on the picture below.
Het is dus een stick-highlighter die je omhoog kan draaien. De verpakking is niet erg bijzonder, maar ik hou wel van die chubby stick-achtige verpakkingen omdat ze zo gemakkelijk zijn. Ik gebruik hem nu voornamelijk alleen op mijn jukbeenderen en door de bolle vorm bovenaan verloopt het aanbrengen erg gemakkelijk. Ik weet niet of dat zo zal blijven als hij wat platter wordt. Ik heb wel gemerkt dat hij erg romig is, dus al te veel problemen verwacht ik niet. :) Naast de fijne romige textuur heeft hij ook een heerlijk vanillegeurtje. Subtiel, maar wel lekker!
It's a stick-highlighter, so you can use it by twisting up the product. The packaging isn't very special, but I like those chubby stick-like packagings because they're so easy in use! I'm using it on my cheekbones and because of the shape, it's very easy to apply. I don't know if it will stay that easy when it becomes flatter. I've noticed it's very creamy though, so I'm not expecting too many problems. :) Besides the creamy texture, it also has a very nice vanilla scent. Subtle, but delicious!
Er zijn twee kleuren beschikbaar: een witte en de kleur die ik heb. Ik heb gekozen voor Gleaming Apricot: een abrikoos-gouden kleurtje met veel shimmers. Een echt witte highlighter zorgt bij mij vaak voor een fake robot-achtig effect, waardoor ik toch maar gekozen heb voor een iets natuurlijker alternatief.
There are two colours available: a white one and the one I've got. I've chose Gleaming Apricot: a golden apricot color with a lot of shimmer. White highlighter can result in a fake robot-like effect for me, so I've chosen the more natural looking alternative.
Dit is de stick op mijn hand zonder hem te vervagen. Hij is dus erg goed gepigmenteerd. Na het vervagen blijft hij natuurlijk niet zo fel en oogt hij veel natuurlijker. Het resultaat is gewoon een gezonde uitstraling. Ik vind hem erg fijn, maar ik zal hem niet snel opnieuw aankopen. Oei, toch niet zo goed? Helemaal niet! Er zit echt genoeg product in om een lange tijd mee door te komen, dus ik zal gewoon nog niet meteen een nieuwe nodig hebben! :) Je kan hem kopen op de website voor 7,90 euro. Dit lijkt redelijk veel, maar gezien de hoeveelheid is dit echt een koopje. Het is een limited edition, dus niet te lang wachten als je hem wil aankopen!
This is the stick on my hand without blending. It's very pigmented but it becomes more natural when you blend it. The result is a nice and healthy glow. I like this product a lot, but I won't buy it again soon. Oh, not so good then? Not at all! There's enough product to last me a very long time, so I won't need another one soon! :) You can buy this at the website for 7,90 euro. This seems quite a lot, but when you take the ammount of product into consideration it isn't expensive at all. This is a limited edition product, so don't wait too long if you want to buy it!
