Vandaag wil ik jullie een kijkje laten nemen in mijn blush stash. Blush zorgt ervoor dat je meteen een mooie en gezonde uitstraling hebt, al is het niet altijd gemakkelijk om de juiste blush te vinden. Sommigen hebben te weinig pigmentatie en anderen zijn zo gepigmenteerd dat je moet opletten voor het befaamde clown-effect. Daarom zal ik ook een korte review geven van de blushes die ik bezit. De blushes van KIKO komen niet aan bod in dit artikel. Een review van deze blushes kan je hier vinden.
Today I want to show you my blush stash. Blush gives you instantly a beautiful and healthy appearance, though it isn't always easy to find a proper one. Some have too little pigmentation and others are so pigmented that they can result in the famous clown effect . Therefore I will give a brief review of the blushes that I own. The blushes of KIKO are not discussed in this article. A review of these blushes can be found here.
Elf studio blush
De blush uit de studio-lijn van Elf is heel gelijkaardig aan de oogschaduw. De blush heeft dezelfde verpakking, maar is iets groter. Ik heb er zelf 2 in mijn stash: Peachy Keen en Candid Coral. Ik had ook Blushing Rose, maar deze heb ik weggegeven omdat deze echt de donker was voor mijn lichte huid.
The blush from the studio line from ELF is very similar to the eyeshadow. The blush has the same packaging, but is slightly larger. I got two blushes: Peachy Keen and Candid Coral. I also had Blushing Rose, but I gave it away because it was really dark for my fair skin .

Hierdoor kan je ze wel erg goed opbouwen en heb je niet meteen teveel blush op. De blush bevat 4,75 gram aan product. Ik heb deze gekocht voor 3,50 euro, intussen zijn de jammer genoeg iets duurder geworden en betaal je 4 euro. Je kan de studio-blush verkrijgen op de website van Elf.

Elf Natural Radiance Blusher
Deze blush van Elf komt uit hun goedkopere lijn. Dat zie je ook aan de verpakking, die niet meteen luxe uitstraalt. Het is een eenvoudig doorschijnend doosje, wat natuurlijk wel betekent dat je de kleur gemakkelijk kan zien. Ik heb nu Coy en Glow. Flushed vond ik te fel en heb ik weggegeven.

Links zie je Glow en rechts Coy. Glow is een perzikroze met een subtiele shimmer. Ik vind deze kleur echt prachtig en zeker geschikt voor de dames onder ons met een zeer lichte tint. Rechts zie je Coy. Dit is meer een bruinroze kleur. Hij is iets donkerder, waardoor ik hem gebruik als contourende blush.
Left is Glow and right is Coy. Glow is a peach pink with a subtle shimmer. I think this color is really beautiful and very suitable for ladies with a pale complexion. Coy is more of a brownish pink color. It's slightly darker, so I use it as a contouring blush.
Op de swatch zie je links Glow en rechts Coy. Deze blushes zijn gepigmenteerder dan de studio-blush. Ze zijn wel poederiger van substantie, waardoor je moet uitkijken welke borstel je gebruikt. Bij een te harde of stugge borstel begint de blush te kruimelen, wat natuurlijk niet de bedoeling mag zijn. Deze blush was in deze verpakking te koop voor 1 euro. Intussen is er een nieuwe verpakking en is de prijs gestegen naar 2,50. Je kan de nieuwe versie hier vinden.

Catrice Mineral soft powder rouge
Deze blush van Catrice zit jammer genoeg niet meer in het assortiment. Toch wil ik hem aan jullie laten zien, omdat het mijn dagelijkse go-to blush is.

Ik heb de kleur 120 Wild Rose. De kleur is erg gelijkaardig aan Candid Coral van Elf. Het is ook een koraalkleurige blush, al bevat de versie van Catrice iets grotere gouden glitters. Deze blush is erg goed gepigmenteerd, maar toch gemakkelijk op te bouwen. Ik duim er in ieder geval voor dat deze blush in de toekomst terugkomt bij Catrice, al is het maar in een limited edition!
